My Background...

In 1976 I attended Lotus Lodge, a Wholistic Retreat in Strasburg, OH, taking various modalities: massage, iridology, nutrition, color therapy, etc.  In the summer of 1979 and 1980 I attended classes at the Healing Light Center in Glendale, CA with Roslyn Bruyer and studied Aura Balancing, energy modalities, etc.

In 1980 and 1981 I took a 6-month class on Touch for Health© Textbook by John F. Thie, D.C. in Boulder, CO.  This included muscle testing, meridians and oriental philosophy.  I became a member of the AMTA in February 1986, (I graduated under a previous married name) and have continued my studies and create various tests for students in order to help them pass massage certification exams. In the mid-80s I became a CNA for continuing education classes.

In 1989 and 1990 I attended workshops at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver.  These classes were for gaining knowledge and not for any credit toward a degree.  I also studied ANMA, the art of Japanese Massage, In Boulder, CO, not for credit but for additional knowledge.  During 1980 I took classes in hypnosis in Denver, CO, and became a hypno-therapist in 1981 utilizing this for past life regressions.

I continue to network with many instructors throughout the country and am still a ‘student-at-heart’ as massage and healing modalities are constantly finding new ways and techniques for healing the body, mind and spirit.
